ROOST Midtown

This inaugural and flagship location of the ROOST extended-stay hotel occupies two floors of converted office space in Philadelphia’s historic Packard Building. A previously concealed coffered ceiling serves as the focal point for many of the 27 furnished apartments, which balance the highly detailed ornamentation with clean lines and a subtle palette of refined materials. Every ROOST apartment is different and each one is designed to offer visitors an authentic living experience and imbued with a lived-in warmth reinforced by mid-century inspired furnishings, art objects, and textiles that were handpicked from an array of designers, artisans, and vintage collections all over the United States. MA also updated the building’s historic, albeit dated, lobby with a crisp white plaster finish, modern lighting, and a custom-designed brass reception desk. In designing ROOST Midtown, MA defined the ROOST brand for every future location.
